Recent Radio Interview
Back in early May, I was interviewed by Dan Hanneman with Spiritual Rockstar Radio and the topic was “Breaking Free from the Emotional Prison.” This conversation covered a lot of territory including the planetary shift in consciousness, the scale of emotions and some description of how I work with clients.
The Biggest Game in Town
I’ve been working on an ecourse entitled, “Living the Ultimate Manifestation.” The course isn’t finished, but I wanted to post some excerpts of it to my blog in the meantime. Here is the first segment…
Living the Ultimate Manifestation – Part 1
I came up with the term, The Ultimate Manifestation, after spending several years coaching people on how to manifest, attract and create their intentions, dreams and desires in life.
I honestly felt that being good at manifesting and attracting was the biggest game in town. I thought that was what everyone really wanted (deep down). What skill could be better than knowing how to easily and quickly bring into existence the things, situations and circumstances that you most desire?
More time, more money, better relationships, a better job, a bigger house, better health… All of these areas can improve significantly when you understand and work effectively with the mechanics of how reality is created.
I celebrated many successful manifestations with my clients, and I got to be a witness to some pretty extraordinary events over the past several years. But, over time, I began to notice something that made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
I remember being on a trip to California in August of 2009 when I felt something had shifted in my relationship to how I coach people and how I was living my own life.
The realization hit me that being great at manifesting, attracting and creating your life isn’t worth a whole lot if you still aren’t able to experience lasting happiness along the way. And, I was seeing this pattern with my clients: They’d focus on what they wanted to bring into reality, they’d do the work, take the actions and it would show up! They’d be happy and excited for a few weeks, and then they’d be shifting their attention to some new thing to manifest. Which all seemed fine at the time.
But, what I noticed was their happiness and excitement usually waned after a couple weeks, and it was as if they needed to now manifest something new in order to feel that level of happiness and excitement again.
What was getting lost in the midst of all of this manifesting, was what I recognized as “The Ultimate Manifestation.”
As I searched for the meaning behind what I was seeing, it gradually became very clear to me.
What we all really want is not more stuff, better this and bigger that.
What we all really want is a feeling. It’s the feeling of lasting happiness.
I realized that we could make living that state the priority and discover how to live a life of lasting happiness regardless of what is manifesting in our life circumstances. And, when we do this, we unlock the door to living a life of extraordinary peace, joy, freedom, love, gratitude and excitement.
We can still continue to manifest all kinds of wonderful things, situations and circumstances, but we can do it from a place of already having what we most want: the feeling of lasting happiness.
I have shifted my coaching practice to be all about helping people to live the Ultimate Manifestation. It’s the most worthwhile goal I’ve ever found, and it brings me great joy to see my clients becoming steadily happier in their lives regardless of what is going on around them.
I still believe that the skill of deliberately and intentionally manifesting your reality is the coolest ability you can learn in this lifetime. And, I still coach people to help them improve their abilities and skills in this area. But I now see that the art and practice of living a truly happy life regardless of your circumstances is the biggest, most important game in town.
It may be the most important lesson for each and every one of us to learn in this lifetime. (Doesn’t it seem like life is trying to teach us this when it throws us the occasional curveball?)
So, I hope you enjoy this eCourse, and I hope that as a result you will make Living the Ultimate Manifestation the top goal on your list. It will truly change your life and the lives of everyone around you.
What Are Your Daily Spiritual Practices?
My friend Wendy Down turned me on to www.finerminds.com and watching this video got me thinking about a point he makes.
We all have many daily practices that address our physical needs. But, how many daily practices do you have that address your non-physical (spiritual) needs?
As I take an inventory of my Daily Spiritual Practices, here is what I see…
1. I make a point to daily tune into the spiritual level (very similar to praying) and ask for help with what I’m working on today, express gratitude for the assistance I’ve been receiving and basically just touch base with my non-physical network/team which includes guides, angels, loved ones who are working from the other side on my behalf, my higher self, etc.
2. I have a large whiteboard (paper pad on an easel) that has a page for my big intentions and goals that are in the process of manifesting right now. I check in with these to make sure I am fully aligned with them (checking resonance is strong, I am in positive vibe and I am living in the reality where this outcome already exists – Quantum Reality Shifting Process) and to see if there is anything specific I need to do today to move any of them forward.
3. I make a point throughout my day to be aware of my emotional vibration using the Scale of Emotions as my primary tool to measure where I’m at vibrationally.
If I were going to add more to the list, I’ve been feeling the urge to do more visualizing on a daily basis, so that would be a very good one to include.
If you’re starting out at zero practices, I recommend you come up with just one practice to begin with, and make that a habit before you try to add other practices. For most people, about 30 days of daily practice will make it habitual. It’s important to be very consistent during that 30 day period.
Tell me about your Daily Spiritual Practices… What do you like to do?
Removing Energetic Attachments – Examples
I’ve been thinking for awhile now that I wanted to post some recordings of examples showing what it’s like to remove an energetic attachment. So, yesterday, Alice and I were working with a client and we had the opportunity to remove three separate energies and I realized those examples would be good to use.
Here is Example 1, in which you’ll hear Alice describing what the attachment looks like (this one was an object) and the process of it being removed by guides and angels on the spiritual level.
In Example 2, we have an object and an entity present with some very interesting details involved. Both of these examples are pretty typical of what this process is like. The details are always a little different and there are varying degrees of negativity around the energies, but overall the process tends to go like this most of the time.
Here are the steps of the removal process. You’ll hear most of these as you listen to the recordings. FYI – The recordings were edited a bit to cut out unnecessary dialogue and the client gave me permission to post these on my blog.
1. Identify that there is an energetic attachment present. Often we are looking around a very specific context or issue that the client is dealing with.
2. Locate precisely where the attachment is located in the client’s body or aura.
3. When Alice is present, we get some details about what the attachment looks like and it’s apparent purpose of emotional frequency. These energies are typically negative, and can be pulling the client into various negative emotional states like anger, frustration, sadness, bitterness, worry, guilt, unworthiness, etc.
4. Ask for the optimal guides and/or angels to step forward and remove the energy. The request has to be made. Nothing happens until we ask.
5. Verify when the process is complete. Often there is some healing work done on the spiritual level after the energy has been removed. The whole process takes anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes in my experience.

Does Your Brain Need a Good Washing?
We’ve all heard the saying, “Change your mind (or thoughts), change your life.” That is a 100% true statement.
When we change our thoughts, we change our perspectives, our beliefs, what we expect in the future, how we relate to things and people, and the actions we take. EVERYTHING changes when you change your way of thinking. You basically line up with a different version of reality.
Since most people on the planet have at least one area of their life they’d like to improve (health, relationships, money, career, happiness, spiritual connection, etc), and most of us know that if we just change our mind and thinking patterns we can change our life experience, then it seems like we should all be able to have exactly what we want in life.
However, everyone who has ever tried to make changes to their life knows this is not an easy process most of the time. The reason for this is that the mind is very resistant to change. It resists you trying to think differently and insert new and improved thoughts. Mind and ego want to keep things the way they are and the way they have always been in the past because, historically, that has been the best way for human ego to ensure it’s survival. Yes, it is the primal survival instinct that holds us in place. Resisting change, even when the change will be for the better.
What is needed is a way to get underneath the dynamic of resisting change, so that we can make adjustments in the fundamental thought patterns (core beliefs) that are controlling our way of thinking and direction our life is going. There are a few ways to do this that I am aware of.
One is through WaveMaker Coaching, which utilizes the WaveMaker device to disempower the resistant thought patterns and allow you to install new ways of thinking and more easily move in a new direction.
Another great accessible way to change your deep thought patterns is through what I call “positive brain-washing.” Now, brain-washing has gotten a really bad rap over the years because we think of it as something that happens when you join a cult or extreme religious or political group. What comes to your mind when you think of brain-washing? Probably all negative examples like Jim Jones in Guyana, Charles Manson and his followers, Wako Texas, etc.
Consider the brain-washing capacity of your television. If you watch a lot of tv, I guarantee you that you are being brain-washed. And, in this case you have very little choice about what messages you are allowing into your conscious and subconscious mind. Advertisers take full advantage of brain-washing to get you to begin thinking that you need the things they are selling. With the huge spectrum of channels available now, you could be taking in all kinds of detrimental messages and content disguised as entertainment. It’s really something to be aware of and notice. I recommend being very selective about what channels you watch most and steer toward the more positive uplifting content.
Brain-washing is actually a very useful tool when used with a positive intent. The easiest way to wash your own brain is through repeated exposure to specific content that is aligned with the thoughts you want to be thinking. How do we take in content? Through books, video and audio primarily. What is the easiest way to positively brain-wash yourself? I believe the best way to change your thinking patterns gradually and fairly effortlessly is by listening to audio programs.
I listen to audio recordings of my favorite teachers and mentors when I’m in the car and when I’m outside doing yardwork. It’s such a great way to be doubly productive. I have a few different programs that I like to listen to over and over, and I rotate through them, listening to one for a couple months, then switching to the next one when I’m ready for a change. When I go back and listen to one of the programs after having a long break from it, it’s amazing to me how much I have internalized and integrated into my thinking. And, it’s also amazing how many things I hear as if for the first time.
So, if you’d like to make solid progress in changing your life, I recommend you try some positive brain-washing and find a few good audio programs that cover the ideas and concepts that you want to be grounded in and living from. Energetic Attachments – A Basic Understanding
My good friend, Alice Brewer gave a talk this week at the Center for Spiritual Growth in South Bend, Indiana. The topic was “What’s Gotten Into You (An Expanded View of Reality)” and it was about the concept of energetic attachments.
This is something that Alice and I have worked with a lot over the past 16 months. Alice often sits in on my coaching sessions and shares her gifts with my clients. By gifts, I mean her ability to see, hear and interact with the non-physical (or spiritual) realm of reality. She has some extraordinary abilities, and together we’ve had some profound experiences with helping clients to shift very big issues in their lives.
I wanted to post something that was useful, brief and to the point around this energy attachment subject. This is how I see things based on my own personal experience in this field. The conclusions I’ve come to have been confirmed and echoed in a few books I’ve read on this subject (however, I read the books AFTER having most of the experiences that led me to the conclusions).

For those who are very new to this subject, some of this may sound pretty far out. However, I am 100% convinced that this phenomenon is real and something that each one of us deals with in life here on planet earth (whether we are aware of it or not). I feel an understanding of what is going on “behind the scenes” and what you can do about it is very helpful.
1. Energy attachments can be thought of as a range (or spectrum) of types of energetic patterns that can become attached to a person’s energetic field or aura. The spectrum includes earthbound spirit attachments on one end down to small fragments of energy that are barely detectable on the other end. Attachments are like energetic parasites. The effect on a person caused by an attachment can be hugely significant to totally insignificant. It is the situations where the effect is significant that I am most interested in removing attachments.
2. Basically, we are talking about energy that just doesn’t belong in you. It’s not energy that you created in your life experience. It’s energy that somehow got attached to you during your life. Usually there is some resonance point of attraction that draws it to you. For example: If you struggled with depression at some point in your life, you could attract attachments that resonate with low vibration depressed emotions. Energetically, “like attracts like” so a negative feeling state that you are stuck in can open the door for negative energetic attachments to be drawn to you. Once an attachment has “moved in,” it can pull you into specific feeling states or thought patterns when it is activated or triggered. So, a negative attachment associated with depression could cause you to drop into depression when you would normally be feeling good (if there were no attachment present). Attachments can influence your thinking and the way you feel.
3. Energy attachments are part of the human condition and they are extremely common. I believe everyone has energetic attachments, so you might as well get over the fear that you may have one (if that fear is present). The question is, “Are they affecting you in a negative way?” We live in a very polluted energetic environment here on planet earth. It’s pretty impossible to not pick up things here and there as you live your life. It’s like walking through a wild field. When you get to the other side you’re going to have some of those little prickly things stuck to your clothes.
4. The upside of this subject is that I’ve found that by removing energetic attachments that ARE causing some detrimental effect, a person can experience very immediate and positive shifts in their life. The most dramatic and immediate changes I’ve ever witnessed in all of my coaching years have been the result of removing energy attachments that were exerting a significant influence or “pull” on the client. Once the attachment is gone, the client often feels very differently and that is usually a permanent shift. An example: We worked with a young man who had panic attacks whenever he had to travel. This condition had been present for several years and it was getting worse as more time went by. It was interfering significantly with his work and personal life. Alice and I spent a couple hours with him during which we removed four attachments and worked through a past life issue that was related. After that one session, his panic attacks completely disappeared and they have never returned. He recently went on a trip to Mexico and reported that he felt no significant feelings of panic or concern before or during the trip.
5. So, if you have some issue in your life that isn’t resolving the way you want it to, this is a place to look to see if there is something pulling you in an unwanted direction. It has become the first thing I check when working with any client on any issue. If there is some energy attachment involved in the issue, we want to get that out of the way before we doing anything else. Then we can deal with whatever causes are present within the client’s own energy, or their own thought patterns. My overall coaching results have improved significantly since I started checking for and removing energy attachments. I find issues can shift much more easily and quickly. And, by the way, I always make sure it is optimal to remove the attachment before removing it (determined through muscle testing). Rarely do I find that it is not optimal for the client to have it be taken away.
6. Most of the time, it is very easy to remove attachments, but they have to be detected and their location identified in order for them to be removed. I use muscle testing to determine if an attachment is present and if it is, where exactly it is located in the client’s energy field. Once we have that information, I simply engage the spiritual level (guides and angels specifically) and ask them to remove the attachment. When Alice is present for the session, she can give a vivid detailed “play by play” of what is happening during this process. The details are fascinating and while there is a common pathway or protocol that occurs as these energies are removed, the specifics are always unique and quite interesting. Fortunately, we have digitally recorded almost all of our sessions in which we do this type of work. Alice and I are now talking about writing a book and sharing many of the stories around this subject.
7. The reason I got into this area is because I am always looking for “what is the root cause?” when trying to help someone shift an issue. If you don’t address the root cause, you probably won’t be successful in the long run. Attachments can be the root cause of many physical, mental and emotional well-being issues. Another meta-physical place that I look (usually the second thing I check for) is past life conflicts. If there is some unresolved issue from a past life, that alone can keep you stuck for your whole lifetime. Again, I had to keep digging to find the root of the problem, and I eventually realized the root of the problem sometimes is deeper than anything that has happened in this lifetime. Whether you believe in past lives or not, it can be an effective “theory” to use as a tool to access unresolved emotional energy that is keeping you stuck. Alice’s abilities are very helpful when dealing with past life issues as well. She typically sees the past life like a movie playing in her mind’s eye. She can easily go to the parts of the movie that hold the keys to resolving the conflict and then we typically use a couple emotion resolution techniques to resolve (or dissolve) the energy that has been stuck.
Once a person has a basic understanding of attachments, the two questions they usually ask are:
- How do I get rid of an attachment?
- How do I protect myself from getting attachments?
Both Alice and I can help you with removing attachments. There are others out there who provide this type of service, check them out thoroughly before proceeding. Once you gain some experience around this, it can be fairly easy in most cases to remove them yourself. But, you have to understand the basics and know what you’re doing in order to be effective. So, I recommend working with someone who is experienced and has a good track record with attachment removal. Being able to be aware of the attachment and locating it are the two biggest challenges.
As for the second question, one of the easiest ways to avoid attachments is to learn to live in high vibration (positive emotional state or positive mood). The more you are up in a high emotional state (feeling states of peace, joy, freedom, love, gratitude and excitement are good examples), the more protected you are. Attachments are low vibration, negative energy. Because “like attracts like” you would need to be in a low vibration state in order to pick up an attachment. There are some exceptions to this, like being under anesthesia, but generally, as long as you are feeling good and in a positive state, you’re impenetrable energetically. It’s very similar to how your immune system works. When your immune system is strong, you can fend off virtually any virus or bacteria that comes at you. Your immune system is like a protective force field. The same is true of high vibration. When you are in high vibration your aura acts like a protective force field and can repel negative energies.
As part of my coaching support, I help people shift into being able to live in very high states. I’ve found some shortcuts that make this much easier than you may expect. Refer to other articles in this blog in the Living the Ultimate Manifestation category.
There are other ways to protect yourself, and I plan to write a followup article that will cover that. In the meantime, for more information on this, please feel free to post comments below or contact me directly.
I hope this article has helped to explain the concept of energy attachments and set you at ease about the possibility of their presence in your life. I find that most people are unaware of this idea, or they have fearful ideas about it. I feel it is important to understand this aspect of reality and not be afraid of it. But, rather educate yourself a bit and gain some experience in how to effectively address it in your own life.
Masters of Manifesting
I’ve been looking for more examples to post to my Daily Evidence category. While nothing major is jumping out at me, I realize that a whole lot of things have happened in the past few days, all of which have been on my To Do list. So, what’s the difference between getting things done and manifesting? Well, not much…
I suppose I often think of Manifesting as when what shows up is more like a rabbit being pulled out of a magician’s hat. But, the truth is, we all are manifesting, attracting and creating outcomes all day long. You could say, we are all Masters of Manifesting. But, are we manifesting what we want? There are two questions to ask around this:
1. Are the outcomes Desired or Unwanted?
2. Are we manifesting, attracting & creating Consciously (Deliberately) or Unconsciously (by Default)?
Ideally, we want to be able to create Desired Outcomes very Consciously and Deliberately. That’s the goal. And as I look at what has shown up over the past few days, there are several things that fit that bill:
- I got my pool table moved from my office area into the room outside my office — a very positive change both for the look of my office and also for the room outside, which is going to have more of a gameroom feel. This change was inspired recently while looking at homes during the local Builder’s Showcase of Homes. I saw an arrangement of a pool table that gave me the idea to make this change, and it’s a much better solution than selling my pool table, which is what I was considering doing before.
- I just ordered a couple new pairs of glasses, which I will pick up on Friday and the cost will be less than half what I paid last time around. I’m very excited about having some new glasses with a better prescription. Also just found out how I can order a huge supply of contact lenses for about half the price of what I usually would spend.
- An ongoing manifestation has been playing out with my paying off my home mortgage. I’m managed to pay down over $25,000 of principal in under 2 months! This item became a top priority in March and I am quite amazed at how much progress has been made in such a short time. I’m seeing that we could have our home paid off in 3-5 years with very little change to our lifestyle. This is an example of focusing on what I want to use money for and asking for that, rather than just asking for money — it can make a big difference in what shows up when you have your attention focused on what you’ll do with the money when you get it.
- I got the kids signed up for some summer activities that we’ve been talking about for awhile. There were some questions around what they really wanted to do, and we finally got the clarity we needed to decide and move forward.
- My wife’s website is ranking very high in Google searches for the keywords we are targeting. This comes as a result of hiring a pro SEO web person to take control and do what is needed to get this result.
- I got my OptimaLife Coaching site redesigned and moved to a more inexpensive hosting arrangement.
Also, along the way I’ve said “no” to several opportunities that have popped up. Being able to choose wisely what to pursue and what not to pursue can end up saving tons of time and energy on the back end. I’ve gotten into a strong habit of using intuition, muscle-testing and even checking in with my partner Alice (who can interact easily with my spiritual guides and higher self) whenever I am a bit on the fence about moving in a new direction.
I had a marketing training program that came on my radar last week that I REALLY wanted to jump into. But, my muscle-testing was always a “no” and when I checked with the spiritual level (on two separate occasions) I got a “no” as well. So, I passed on it. Now, the old me would have jumped in and paid the $2K to do the program, because it felt like the right thing to do. But, the guidance was basically, I didn’t need the skills that were going to be taught, or if I did need them, I would have a better opportunity to learn them at some future point.
So, in cases that like, I see that I am manifesting more time and freedom by NOT doing the training. And, freedom is on the top of my list of what I really want to experience (along with peace, joy, love, gratitude and excitement).
Cool Interview with Eckhart Tolle
I’ve seen many videos of Eckhart Tolle giving lectures and being interviewed. I’ve never seen him in such a hip environment as this one though.
