Letting Go – The Movie
I’ve been aware of the Sedona Method for many years and tried to work with it back in 2003. Another possible tool that can help you shift the emotional sandbags that weigh you down. I personally use some other tools, but I know this is an effective approach and that it works for many people who are currently using it.

On Gratitude and Walking Your Path
I’ve been meeting with Alice (my spiritual conduit and interpreter) on a weekly basis for the past month, getting some wonderful guidance and interaction from my own spiritual guides and loved ones who’ve crossed over and who are working on my behalf to help me manifest things here on the physical plane. It’s so exciting to learn about what is happening “on the other side of the curtain,” I love these conversations!
Here is an excerpt from our session last week. You’ll hear my wife speaking as well (she attends these sessions too). Some of the questions and subjects covered include:
- Do I need to keep focusing on my desires even after they have begun showing up?
- The role of gratitude in the manifestation process.
- Do we need a strong desire in order to have things show up?
- What can I do to be more fully on my path in this lifetime?
- What does it mean to be on my path?
- The importance of taking time to play.
- The importance of focusing on the feeling of whatever you desire.

Choosing the Right Perspective
Do you have any circumstances, situations or relationships in your life where you have a hard time holding a high vibration when you think about them?
Examples:
- The Gulf oil spill
- Your money situation
- Your work situation
- Your health / weight / well-being
- Some relationship that is difficult for you
We all have “thorns” in our lives. Those problematic, vibration-lowering things or people that seem to mess up our happiness. We may think, “If only that were different, I would be able to be happy so easily!”
Well, the thorns are there for a reason. And, you’ll probably always have at least one in your life until you learn how to be happy (in high vibration state) despite whatever thorns are present.
Focusing on getting rid of the thorns, or longing for the day when the thorns will leave us is not the best way to deal with them. Once one thorn leaves, another will soon take it’s place. It just seems to be how life works, we always have a challenge or two to deal with.
Which is a good thing really. Life would be way to easy and boring without the challenges. It is only through dealing with adversity that we can grow and evolve. The key is to be able to deal with the adversity from a happy place. Then it doesn’t feel like such a big deal.
In fact, the one way to get rid of the thorns completely for the rest of your life is to learn how to deal with them while being happy. Then the thorns can transform into roses (maybe taking that metaphor too far but you get the idea). You’ll still have them, but when you are holding them in acceptance, peace, love and joy (as examples of high states), you will feel totally different about them, and even be grateful (another high state) to have them in your life because you recognize their value as spiritual teachers.
At this point, in my experience of playing with this, the thorns kind of disappear. They only stay invisible however, as long as I stay in high state in relationship to them. If I drop into a negative state again, they become “activated” or visible again.
This comes back to the idea that your perspective determines your reality. (btw – that’s a quote from Star Wars, Episode 1 when Qui-Gon is teaching young Anakin. There are many great manifesting and reality-shifting quotes in the Star Wars movies. The Jedi’s are masters of this stuff).
All we experience is our perspective. It’s just one slice of the true reality. You can never experience more than that one slice at a time (at least not until you have developed that ability and are living fully as a multi-dimensional being). But you can experience a different slice by choosing a new perspective. This is why the reality seems to change when we change our perspective. Our experience of the reality changes, and as far as we are concerned, from our vantage point, the reality has changed. But all of the slices are still there and other people are still experiencing that same reality from all of the other perspectives.
The BP oil spill is a good example of this. You can imagine all the different perspectives that people are in right now. Most are probably negative and resistant.
So, your job is to identify the topics, subjects or areas of your life where you notice you have a negative perspective. The way you can tell is by how you feel when you think about that topic, subject or area. If you immediately start to feel lower feeling states (anything in the low end of the Scale of Emotions), then you’ve found one.
Once you’ve identified a thorn, you now need to find a new positive perspective to take. You’ll need to make this your new home on this topic. You can look at the Scale of Emotions and choose a perspective that aligns with anything on the top section of positive vibrations. Peace, Acceptance, Love, and Hope are good examples, but anything positive will work.
When you have fully shifted your perspective, you may notice that the reality begins to shift too. That person who was so problematic for you is now showing up different, more friendly or cooperative. You’re feeling better and better about this topic. Just keep the train moving in that direction and you’ll experience the transformation of a thorn into a rose.
Vibration and Your Environment
I just got home from a quick trip to Chicago to see “Billy Elliot – The Musical.” It was emotionally a very powerful show to watch. Really touching and inspirational and hilarious all at the same time. What a ride!
While we were over there, we stayed at a very nice hotel right in the middle of the theater district and near Lake Michigan. We checked out a $2 million penthouse condo (and really acted as though we were ready to buy it if we liked it). I love “acting as if” and putting myself in situations that are way more luxurious than I’m used to, just so I can feel what it’s like to be in that place.
I was reflecting on vibration while we were walking around and noticing or interacting with many people. There were was quite a range of frequencies that we would encounter just being in the city. There were some people who were working in jobs that they obviously didn’t like, and I could feel their low vibration. Then there were other people doing jobs that were no more glamorous really, but that they were holding a much higher vibration while doing their jobs. The waitress at the restaurant where we had dinner was overflowing with enthusiam, even excitement. She was efficient, ultra polite and service oriented and was a delight. Needless to say, she got a very large tip!
The doorman at the condo that we looked at was a joy to be with. He chatted with us for about 5 minutes while we waited for the sales rep to come down to meet us. Now, I know that is part of his job, to shmooze prospective buyers, but he did it so well, and it just felt so natural… His name was John and I’ll bet I still remember that if I see him again.
It got me thinking about businesses and how they each have a vibration when you walk in the door. I like to eat at Panera Bread frequently. It’s a very UP environment, nice colors, nice music and the staff is always cheerful and friendly. It feels good to be there.
Then I thought about Disneyland which is branded as “the happiest place on earth.” Talk about setting a high bar for the vibration! I know many people who work at Disneyland in CA, and you just have to be a happy person and excited about being there in order to work there. One guy I know is a walking encyclopedia about all things Disney. His job is often just operating rides, not exactly an exciting or fun thing to do all day long, day after day. But, he just loves being in the park and working for the company. He’s worked there over 20 years and still loves it!
So, as you are noticing your own vibration and practicing raising up on a regular basis, you can also notice the vibe of your environment. Especially wherever you spend a lot of time. Make sure your work and home environment helps you to stay in a high vibration. Put up pictures you love, or paint the walls in colors that excite you, or re-arrange the furniture so it feels new and different. We are very conditioned by our environment, so pay attention to how your environment makes you feel and if it’s pulling you down, make some changes!
Materializing Reality
As I continue to live the Ultimate Manifestation in my own life, it is fascinating to watch how things show as the result of me staying in a high vibration positive state.
Problems get solved very quickly. Synchronicities abound everywhere. Answers show up before I even realize I have a question. It’s just amazing how the Universe works!
We had a guest speaker at our Unity Church this weekend (July 4th). Her name is Esther Nicholson and she is an extremely accomplished singer, songwriter and minister of Science of Mind, which is very similar to Unity Church principles and which I have studied quite a bit over the years.
I felt very aligned with what she was sharing. At one point, my wife turned to me and said, “Is she your alter-ego?” because the words she was using and the concepts she was discussing were the same things I talk about and try to live all of the time in my coaching practice and in my personal life. It’s so nice to hear the same message spoken from a different point of view.
I wrote down one quote which will exemplify this:
“It’s not what you do that matters. It’s the consciousness from which you do it.” — Esther Nicholson
Sounds very similar to one of my favorite Bashar teachings:
“Circumstances don’t matter. Only state of being matters.”
In all of these quotes, it’s important to think about what the word “matters” means. It means “materializes reality.”
So, it’s not what you do that “materializes reality.” It’s not your circumstances that “materialize reality.”
What “materializes reality” is your state of consciousness, your state of being, your vibration, where you are on the Scale of Emotions.

The Human Camera
This is a really amazing demonstration of the power of the mind. Even though we all haven’t figured out how to tap into this, it’s great to know that it’s there.
