Learn to Hit the OFF Switch on Your Thinking

One of the greatest skills I’ve picked up over the past year or so, is how to shut down my thinking as soon as I notice it’s headed in a negative direction.

Our mind often functions as the “commentator” on life. And it never seems to shut up.

Thoughts are just thoughts. They are not reality. They are commentary on reality. Often we get seduced into thinking our thoughts are actually reality. Step out of this illusion.

I experience immense peace and tranquility when I simply shut down my thinking. This can take some practice but it is very worthwhile. I often use the Quantum Entrainment technique (pretty much the same as a Matrix Energetics two point) to stop my mind in it’s tracks. Or I’ll just “pull the plug” on my mental energy.

I’ve gotten to where I can sense when my mind is about to start jabbering away about some situation or circumstance and I can feel that it’s going to be a negative commentary. The old habit was to listen to that commentary and pay attention to it, and then feel like I have to DO something about it. That habit does not serve me because often the commentary is meaningless and based on a viewpoint that I don’t actually agree with.

So, it’s as if I hit the OFF switch and just shut my mind down completely. It feels so great to do that! Silence, stillness and peace are present in that moment. Eventually I let thinking start back up again but I’ve redirected the mental energy toward some other topic that feels good to think about.

This practice will help you hold your high vibration. And holding high vibration is THE most important thing you can do in order to be more effective at manifesting, attracting and creating your ideal outcomes. It’s also THE most important thing you can learn period.

Your Words Create Your Vibe

In addition to choosing your perspective wisely, you also will want to choose wisely the words you use to describe your outcome, or perspective or whatever you are focusing on.

From a Law of Attraction standpoint, what matters is the feeling you have about any subject. And, the way you think of or talk about the subject will have a lot to do with creating that feeling.

Here is an example:

“I am easily able to lose 20 pounds and reach my ideal weight goal.”

It would depend on the individual, but to me this statement has a negative vibe to it. Mainly because it talks about “losing” something, which deep down feels like a bad thing for most people.

A better statement might be:

“I easily reach and maintain my ideal weight.”

Or, even stronger:

“I am now at my ideal weight.”

Or, if that feels too strong:

“I am now in the process of becoming as thin as I want to be!”

***

Pay attention to how you feel when you speak or think your intention statements, goals, desired outcomes, etc. You will have either a positive vibe or a negative vibe based on the way the statement is worded. The words create the vibe!

If you don’t feel very positive when you think about a certain statement, play with the wording until it feels really good to you.

Phrases like,

“I’m in the process of…”

“The universe is now bringing to me…”

“I love knowing that…”

can be useful to improve your vibe.

It is always best to have what you are asking for in the present tense, spoken as if you already have it now. However, sometimes that can create a negative vibe because it just doesn’t feel true and some part of you goes, “yeah, right!”

How you feel about your statements and thoughts is extremely important. Just make sure it’s a positive feeling and not a negative one. If it feels negative, tweak the wording until it feels positive.

If you know how to muscle test, you can actually just test any statement to see if it is positive or negative. If you don’t have that ability, you can go by how it feels to you.

“The Marketing of Madness” – Documentary

I was up early this morning working out and happened to catch part of a very interesting documentary called “The Marketing of Madness – Are We All Insane?”

It’s very refreshing to see something like this on tv, even if it is at 6am in the morning. It’s the first time I’ve come across this point of view in mainstream media.

The documentary analyzes how the pharmaceutical industry and doctors have gotten very good at marketing “made up” illnesses and diseases to the general public with the intent of convincing the average person that whatever ails them is in fact some specific and possibly serious disease. This is all done as a marketing strategy to make money, and it is working extremely well.

I still am amazed when I hear the lists of side effects on the commercials that I see every day on tv. “Taking this drug may cause you to have suicidal thoughts or actions…” is one I’ve heard several times. Does anyone else find it strange that this type of drug is even allowed on the market? Let me get this straight… I’m taking this drug so I can feel better, but I may actually feel like I want to kill myself instead. Hmmm. Something seems a little odd here. Especially when they tell you this in a very nice tone, with pictures of butterflies and smiling people dancing across the screen while they lay this little detail on you.

I’ve witnessed this over-reliance on drugs now for several years and it’s clearly getting worse (or better if you own stock in pharmaceutical companies). In my own experience, most illnesses and diseases can be addressed very effectively with other more natural means including simply resolving the underlying emotional and/or mental conflict that is at the root of the dis-ease state.

The video below is the official preview, so it doesn’t go into the detail that the full documentary gets into. However it looks like you can watch several sections of the documentary on Youtube. I’m glad to see a more truthful and honest viewpoint getting into the mainstream.

The Most Powerful Choice You Can Make

You have the power to choose your perspective, point of view, story that you are telling yourself about every subject, circumstance, person and situation in your life.

The choice you make (as to which perspective you choose) will directly impact your emotional state and “vibration” because certain perspectives have a positive vibe and others have a negative vibe.

Choose your perspectives wisely, with this awareness.

In the places where you notice that your perspective is not serving you or is taking you into low vibration… Change your perspective.

Remember this always: “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

It may be more accurately that things “appear” to change because you have lined up with a different “slice” of that reality. But for all intents and purposes, the appearance is your reality experience, therefore, it IS your reality.

You can hold a true perspective from any point on the Scale of Emotions. Try to always have perspectives that are rooted in the top end of the scale.

Demos of CORE and SEE Techniques

Here is a recording from a recent demo session which has some good conceptual understanding of how these techniques work. As you’ll hear in the recording, I need only 3 techniques to shift every possible emotional energy block (or “sandbag” as I call them) that I’ve ever encountered.

You’ll hear 2 of the techniques demonstrated in this recording. For a demo of the 3rd technique, go here
