5 Reasons Desired Results Don’t Always Show Up Right Away

I recently had a session with my intuitive guide, Alice Brewer. And we were discussing a couple case studies where it’s been more challenging than usual to get the outcome we are looking for with clients.

Alice was shown (by spirit) the 5 biggest causes for outcomes to not appear they way we’d like them to, even after doing very effective work on the issue.

1. The client “wants” the outcome too much. – This can make it very difficult to get it to show up. The solution is to “Let go and let God.” Or, realize what feeling state you are wanting to experience as a result of having this outcome, and learn how to easily “dial” that in now. Then you won’t feel like you need or want the outcome so much since you already have the feeling state, which is what you most want anyway. The less you need or want something to show up, the easier it is to get it to appear. That is practicing the “law of detachment.”

2. There are layers involved. – I’ve hit this on many occasions and we just work through the layers until the outcome shows up. Sometimes there can be almost no movement on the issue after a few sessions as we work deeper and deeper into it, then all of a sudden, it just shifts.

3. The client backslides. – Growth is not a linear progression. Backsliding will sometimes occur, and that’s ok. It’s part of the learning curve. If you fall off the horse, just get back on the horse and start riding again. Eventually, you will stop falling off.

4. It’s part of the Human Condition. – Especially as relates to physical issues, sometimes the physical manifestation of the issue is just part of the normal process of the body. The picture Alice got on this one was of a monk who was ill. Despite the monk’s advanced state of consciousness and connection to divine energy, his body still was going through some process of decay or deterioration. I tend to still believe a lot can be shifted around this area, I’m very reluctant to accept that the body HAS to age and decay, at least not at the rate that people tend to believe. But, to some degree, we are all subject to the laws of this physical plane “where moth and rust consume.”

5. It is not in the client’s highest and best good to have this outcome at this time (or perhaps ever). – Often there is a lesson involved and until the lesson has been learned, the issue will not change. If we are primarily here to grow and learn (which is my belief based on quite a lot of evidence to suggest that is true), then our “thorny” circumstances and bodily issues are the teachers. The quicker we “get it” and move through whatever we need to learn and integrate, the quicker we can be done with the issue. And, sometimes, the thing we need to learn is how to transcend the issue, to be happy and fulfilled even if it doesn’t change.
