Over 25 Years of Working With Limiting Beliefs
Meet Morty Lefkoe. He’s someone I very recently came across on the web who has figured out some very important information around how our beliefs create and control our life experience.
Check out his blog at: http://www.mortylefkoe.com
I’m now experimenting with his approach and finding it to be extremely effective when combined with muscle testing and the WaveMaker technology that I already use.
More details to follow on this, but I wanted to at least let you know about him and give you an opportunity to read his blog.
Perhaps Our Biggest Obstacle in Life
We are here to grow and evolve as beings.
You could say that in many ways:
- We’re here to become a better person
- We’re here to live our life’s purpose or spiritual path
- Our soul is here to learn our lessons of this lifetime
In this earth-plane existence, we are in human form, however, we are much more than just a human being.
I often hear the saying, “We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
I think that’s a pretty good way to say it, but, we’re even more than spiritual beings. The spiritual aspect is just one dimensional level beyond what we are most used to experiencing as life here on earth.
I like the term “multi-dimensional being” because that’s the best way of describing what we actually are.
I am a physical body = 3rd dimensional level
I am a mind/ego with thoughts and emotions = 4th dimensional level
I am a spiritual being = 5th dimensional level
I am a multi-dimensional being = all the above and whatever we are beyond the 5th dimensional level that we’re not yet even aware of (I’ve heard there are at least 13 dimensions that exist)
So, like Shrek explained to Donkey, we’re made up of dimensional “layers” and there’s a lot more to us than most people realize…
Now back to the point about our biggest obstacle. As I said, we are here to grow and evolve as beings.
At first glance, most people have no problem with that statement, it sounds like a good thing.
But, in order to grow and evolve, we will have to change, and here’s where we meet a huge obstacle. Change is a big problem for most people because:
- Change requires you to step out of your comfort zone and into new territory, try new things and practice new ways of being.
- Many people believe they cannot change or that change is extremely hard so they give up on trying to make changes in their lives.
The main reason change is difficult is due to the part of your mind/ego that strongly resists change. It is your built in survival mechanism and it is operating under the assumption that any change is a potential threat to your survival. Therefore, change must be resisted and avoided at every turn!
This mind/ego survival mechanism is your biggest obstacle to you being able to make the changes in your life that you really want to make. It may allow you to make some small, incremental changes for a short period of time, however, unless it (the survival mechanism) has changed it’s viewpoint or your relationship to it has changed, most likely what you’ll experience is the “rubberband effect” and the snapping back to old ways of being.
We call this self-sabotage, but it is simply what commonly happens as a result of this built in survival mechanism just doing its job (trying to keep you alive in the way it thinks is best).
It’s not really that you are sabotaging yourself, it’s that there is one aspect of your being (on mind/ego level) that strongly resists change because it thinks it’s helping to keep you alive by doing so.
So, this is what most stands in the way of you having the life you really want.
Pondering the Body
Have you ever thought about how much time, energy and money you spend on your body?
If you look at our human existence, it’s amazing to see how much of life revolves around taking care of the body in various ways. Look at the list below and add up how much it actually costs to have a body. You thought owning a BMW was expensive!
The body is our personal vehicle and sensory organism, which allows us to experience life here on Earth.
- We have to feed it
- Give it 8 hours or more of rest each day (like recharging your cell phone batteries)
- Keep it in a comfortable temperature zone (not too hot, not too cold)
- Wash it regularly (hopefully that’s important to you)
- Clothe it (and have a sufficient wardrobe)
- Transport it using other bigger vehicles (cars, planes, buses, etc.)
- Give it regular exercise (like walking your dog)
- When it gets sick, take it to the mechanic (doctor) to find out what’s wrong with it
- Put sunscreen and lotions on it to protect it from the sun, bugs, aging, etc.
- Find a sexual partner to satisfy it’s drive to procreate and make more bodies
- Have a job or some way of earning money to pay for all of this stuff!
- What else? Please post comments of things I’ve missed on this list
It’s pretty interesting to look at. Of course, having a body is the ticket into this world, this 3D physical reality experience. If we didn’t have a body, we’d be in spiritual form. That’s what we return to when the body dies. Life goes on, you just no longer have a body. That’s why ghosts don’t have wallets.
I’m thrilled to have a body, no matter what the cost. It is the most extraordinary piece of equipment any of us will probably ever get to experience (never say ever). I’m sure there are spirits lined up, just waiting for their chance to get another body and experience all the physical sensations of this ride.
Remember that the next time you are feeling down because something about your body isn’t quite the way you want it. Think about how lucky you are to have that body right now! Puts a whole different spin on things when you look at it that way.
What Are You Not at Peace With?
When you are not at peace with something, it means you are in resistance to it in some way.
You may have heard the saying, “What you resist, persists.” This does tend to be true.
So, if you are not at peace with a situation or person in your life, it is likely that the situation or person is not going to change much any time soon, especially if you continue to maintain your resistance toward it/them.
However, if you get to a place of peace (which could also be called “neutrality”), you may find that the situation resolves, and it may resolve very quickly. Even if it doesn’t resolve right away or ever, once you’re at peace with it, you don’t really care one way or another. When you are at peace with something, it is no longer and issue for you.
You are released from needing to be resistant to it in any way. You are free.
Getting to a place of peace often involves a shift of your mental perspective to one of peace and acceptance. It may also involve shifting some energy within in you, that is being triggered by the thing/person you are resisting.
Here’s an example:
Let’s say you are not at peace with the way some people drive. When you get behind those “certain” people, you immediately feel irritated, impatient and frustrated. Those feelings are pretty much opposite of the feeling of peace and neutrality.
Notice what your thoughts are about these people. It’s likely you are making them wrong, judging them or blaming them. This is your egoic mind talking. And, in this moment it has hijacked your thought process and is now running the show.
A quick way to shift into a better place is to find some thoughts of acceptance.
“I accept that I’m irritated and feeling impatient.”
“I accept that I’m judging this person in front of me.”
“It’s totally ok that I’m upset right now. I accept that I’m upset and I’m ok with that.”
Once you feel a bit lighter (you’ve shifted your state of being into an accepting state), then you can reach for some other thoughts that will help you to reframe the situation.
“I really have no basis on which to judge them, just because they drive differently than I do.”
“They have just as much of a right to the road as I do.”
“Maybe it’s good that I’m behind this person, it is forcing me to slow down, which is probably a good thing.”
“I’m going to bless this person and wish them well on their journey.”
The point of this exercise is to change the way you think about this driver, and even all future drivers that might trigger you in the same way. Find a new perspective that is more aligned with your higher self (instead of your egoic mind). It will be a perspective that is accepting, forgiving, friendly, non-reactive and peaceful.
Once you align with that new way of seeing other drivers, you’ll have to remember that and use it again, maybe several times when you are driving. Practicing this new mindset will build it into a habit. At some point you won’t have to consciously think it anymore, it will just become the way you naturally think.
The second part of the shift, if necessary, is to shift the energy within you that gets triggered anytime you find yourself behind some who drives in a way your ego doesn’t like. The CORE Technique is one of a few good tools I use. You can listen to a description and demo of this here.
This type of shift is what I do with clients all day long in my coaching business. It’s easier than you might think, especially when the energy side of the equation gets handled thoroughly. Feel free to post a comment or contact me if you’d like more information on how to make this kind of shift in your own life.
Whatever you do, know that everything that you are currently not at peace with can be changed… or rather, you can change yourself so that you are at peace going forward. It’s all shiftable, and it’s a very worthwhile thing to do.
How Do We Create Our Reality?
I see this idea talked about a lot these days in articles and books. How to create your own reality… There are many theories and techniques around this. There has always been something about this idea that has bothered me just a tad. It may be because I question how much power we have to actually create our reality.
Part of my resistance to this idea comes from another belief that I am holding. That is the belief that everything has already been created, it already exists. You could say God created it all in that one big bang, and things have been unfolding accordingly ever since.
So, if everything has already been created, then our job is not so much to create things as it is to “align” with things that have already been created, which may give the illusion that we are creating them.
If I get an idea for some new revolutionary invention that the world has never seen before, there is an extremely high probability that I’m not the only one with that idea. Usually bright new ideas get seeded to several people right around the same time. Whoever manages to turn the idea into a physical manifestation first, wins.
But, what if that invention has been around since the time when everything got created, but it just wasn’t accessible as an idea until now? Or humans just weren’t quite ready for it until right now? This may explain certain visionaries in history who seem to be thinking or inventing things way before their time. They’re somehow picking up on ideas way ahead of the pack, they’re tuning into things that are created on some other dimensional level and they’re sensing out into infinity to find their inspiration of what is coming. It’s like looking into the future and then bringing those ideas back to the present.
Ok, so maybe create isn’t the right word. However, do we have power to align with certain realities or to influence how reality is going to show up? On this, I feel strongly that we do.
Earlier today, we had a huge storm blow through. It came out of nowhere and suddenly there was intense wind, thunder, lighting and rain pouring down. Did I create or align with that storm? Not that I’m aware of. I didn’t wake up this morning and think, “Hmmm, today would be a great day for some sudden severe weather.” Perhaps on some deep unconscious level some part of me had something to do with that storm showing up, but there is no proof of that so let’s not go there right now.
Do I create or align with all of the incidents and events that show up in my life? Many self-help gurus and spiritual teachers say that I do but I’m not convinced. I guess it is totally possible that I’m creating all of it on some unconscious or higher self level. Anything is possible, but what good does it do me to believe this?
Another way of saying this is that we are each “responsible” for everything that shows up in our life. This I can agree with more easily. I do believe our “response-ability” has a lot to do with influencing how reality plays out.
If we define Reality to be “the Experience I am having in this moment,” then things start making even more sense. My reality is actually my Experience Of whatever is in front of me.
Did I create the storm this morning? Not that I am aware of.
Did I create my experience of the storm? Absolutely, yes! I was 100% consciously aware and in control of how I experienced the storm.
Here is what I mean by that…
I was actually on the phone with a client when it hit, and when it began to get my attention (noticing how things were blowing around outside) I commented to the person on the phone. I mentioned how the trees were bending and how it looked pretty intense. My client asked if we should end the call and I said no, it will pass soon. And, worst case scenario, if a tornado suddenly blows in, I’m already in the basement so I don’t have far to go to be in the safest place in the house (my office is in the basement but looks out on the backyard). I actually said, “I’m at peace with the idea of my house being destroyed, so I’m not worried about any of this.” I knew on a deep level that this was just a storm and not something I needed to take any action around.
Then the power went out for a couple seconds and we were disconnected.
So, I called her right back and we continued our session until the power went out briefly again a couple minutes later. All the while the storm is raging outside my window. I called her back again. After about 10 minutes things had calmed down considerably and we finished up our time with no further interruptions.
I was very aware of how I felt during all of this. There was a calm, relaxed neutral feeling present. There was no concern or frustration or anything resistant or negative going on. I’ve learned how to experience life from this place and it makes a huge difference in how my Reality shows up.
In that sense I am creating my Reality, by responding to whatever is present in a way that is peaceful and non-resistant. In addition, as I do this more and more, it really seems that I have fewer and fewer disruptive events in my life. The peace and tranquility has profoundly pervaded my entire life now for quite a long time. Upsets are extremely rare.
So, as you go about your day, take control of the one aspect of your being that you can have full control over. Choose how you will think and feel in response to whatever is happening in the moment. You’re likely going to run into some deep patterns that will try to pull you into reactivity and resistance. But, these can be shifted. Reach for a feeling of peace, joy, ease and freedom and watch your whole reality take a turn for the better.
A Provocative Look at Parallel Realities
Here is the latest video created by Gayle Gang of TalkReality.net. In this video you’ll hear us discussing some of the theoretical and practical understandings of parallel realities. Check out Gayle’s extensive article on this subject too.
The dialogue clips are taken from a very long conversation Gayle and I had about a month ago.
This concept and the way it’s discussed here is definitely provocative! It can be used as a working paradigm to allow yourself to shift outcomes in your life. I’ve been deepening my understanding of how to apply this idea and noticing the results that show up.
You don’t have to necessarily think this is the absolute nature of reality or take it literally to be true, but rather just use it as a way to access fast and dramatic change in your life by entertaining the notion that there are all of these possible realities co-existing simultaneously.
Listening back to this, I notice that we don’t talk much at all about the spiritual realm and how it might be interacting in all of this. At the end of the video, there is some discussion about miracles and how the apparent sudden shifting to a dramatically different reality can seem to be miraculous. It may be that the spiritual realm helps us to make those kinds of parallel reality shifts. It may also be that we can learn how to do it more consciously as well.
I hope you find this entertaining and thought-provoking. Tell me what you think using the FB comments section below!
Infinite Parallel Realities
Bashar is one of my favorite teachers, many great concepts and understandings in his videos which you can find on Youtube.
I love this concept of parallel realities. It gives me a huge amount of freedom to change aspects of my reality because it simply becomes a question of “how do I line up with that reality which already exists.”
This is just a taste of this concept. There is much more available to explore if you like this type of information.
Mechanisms of Mass Thought and 5th Dimensional Timelines
This is a very interesting article that was forwarded to me by a friend. I work with these concepts quite a bit, however, I use a little different terminology. To download the eBook from which this is excerpted, please see link below. I just bought it myself and am looking forward to checking it out!
Mechanisms of Mass Thought and 5th Dimensional Timelines
Within every moment we are making decisions that will either carry us further along fifth-dimensional timelines or pull us into timelines mired in old ways of thinking and being.
Mechanisms exist all around us that can hook us back into old timelines of suffering and struggle. If we are awake to them, these mechanisms can help us become stronger and more skilled at aligning with the timelines we choose. If we are “asleep at the wheel,” these mechanisms yank us back into old realities where low-vibrational experiences are the norm.
Mechanisms of Mass Thought and Belief Systems
Mechanisms are energy fields created by mass thought. It is easy to become misled by these mechanisms. Every day in one way or another, we feed our life force energy into them. Some mechanisms are rather harmless while others are more destructive.
Relatively benign mechanisms might be getting hooked into buying trendy clothing or becoming obsessed about reading all the novels of a certain writer.
Destructive mechanisms might be joining a vigilante group that is against minority groups, gambling obsessively or becoming addicted to drugs.
Mechanisms hook people in through their belief systems. If we believe we are impoverished, this can hook us into timelines where we experience poverty. If we believe we are unhealthy, they can hook us into timelines where we experience disease. If we believe we are victims, mechanisms hook us into timelines where we are victimized in various ways.
Lightworkers and Mechanisms of Mass Thought
Many lightworkers have learned to see through the more obvious of these mechanisms. They know that our experiences flow according to where we place our energy and focus and they recognize quickly when their thoughts land them into undesired territory. A quick course correction can steer one back to timelines of peace and harmony.
One key is being aware of where we place our focus within every moment.
Consider the realities viewed on television and the nightly news, and those situations discussed with colleagues and friends as a matter of course. Violence, murder, war, terrorism, poverty, natural disasters and homelessness are among these scenarios. There’s nothing wrong with sending love and compassion to all those experiencing struggle and suffering. There’s nothing wrong with taking action to help make the world a better place. But compassion is not the same as investing an inordinate amount of your focus and energy on negative situations others are experiencing.
Being For or Against Something Feeds it your Energy
You can’t change a timeline; you can only energize a new timeline that flows along higher- vibrational frequencies. Investing a great deal of your focus into any lower-vibrational situation energizes it and feeds it energy – and ultimately energizes it to your field of experience.
An example is a person protesting war. This person, because they are against something, is feeding the mechanism of war just the same as those who are in favor of war. In this situation, energizing timelines of peace and understanding help diffuse the energy of war.
Viewed through this lens, it becomes easier to see how energy is just energy. It takes its shape from the focus of our thoughts and emotions. When we allow ourselves to be unconsciously hooked into mechanisms of mass thought we feed our life force into energy fields spinning out replicas of old third-dimensional timelines.
If you have allowed yourself to be hooked into an energy field that is not of your choosing, you can withdraw your focus and attention and place it elsewhere. As we gain awareness, we can extinguish our lifeline to these mechanisms by shifting our focus.
Shifting Focus to Fifth-Dimensional Realities
Shifting to fifth-dimensional timelines is where reality creation comes in. Begin by choosing those areas you wish to energize into your life. These might include a healthy diet, positive and supportive relationships, uplifting books and movies, a new fitness regimen, or reorganizing your home to uplift your energy. You can create a list of new realities you want to build into your life. Whenever you see yourself feeding old realities with your energy and attention, shift your focus to this list of realities you wish to expand into your experience.
Once you begin to energize a new positive reality into your life, further actions will appear to you. As you take the actions downloaded to your consciousness, you anchor new and uplifting experiences into your physical reality.
Creating a List of Preferred Realities
Begin now by making a list of thoughts, images, ideas and perspectives that to you represent the new time on Earth when you’re deeply rooted in fifth-dimensional timelines. When old mechanisms show up to try and hook you into old, third-dimensional realities, refuse to feed them your energy. Instead, shift your attention and focus to fifth-dimensional realities you choose to energize. The new time on planet Earth exists within the hearts and minds of many now who are incubating fifth-dimensional energy fields within their own consciousness.

Gregg Braden Interview – Quantum Healing
This was recorded on Tuesday, 02/22/11. I’ve been following Gregg Braden’s work for several years and I always enjoy hearing him speak. He has very powerful insights about what is currently happening in human consciousness and our evolution.
5 Reasons Desired Results Don’t Always Show Up Right Away
I recently had a session with my intuitive guide, Alice Brewer. And we were discussing a couple case studies where it’s been more challenging than usual to get the outcome we are looking for with clients.
Alice was shown (by spirit) the 5 biggest causes for outcomes to not appear they way we’d like them to, even after doing very effective work on the issue.
1. The client “wants” the outcome too much. – This can make it very difficult to get it to show up. The solution is to “Let go and let God.” Or, realize what feeling state you are wanting to experience as a result of having this outcome, and learn how to easily “dial” that in now. Then you won’t feel like you need or want the outcome so much since you already have the feeling state, which is what you most want anyway. The less you need or want something to show up, the easier it is to get it to appear. That is practicing the “law of detachment.”
2. There are layers involved. – I’ve hit this on many occasions and we just work through the layers until the outcome shows up. Sometimes there can be almost no movement on the issue after a few sessions as we work deeper and deeper into it, then all of a sudden, it just shifts.
3. The client backslides. – Growth is not a linear progression. Backsliding will sometimes occur, and that’s ok. It’s part of the learning curve. If you fall off the horse, just get back on the horse and start riding again. Eventually, you will stop falling off.
4. It’s part of the Human Condition. – Especially as relates to physical issues, sometimes the physical manifestation of the issue is just part of the normal process of the body. The picture Alice got on this one was of a monk who was ill. Despite the monk’s advanced state of consciousness and connection to divine energy, his body still was going through some process of decay or deterioration. I tend to still believe a lot can be shifted around this area, I’m very reluctant to accept that the body HAS to age and decay, at least not at the rate that people tend to believe. But, to some degree, we are all subject to the laws of this physical plane “where moth and rust consume.”
5. It is not in the client’s highest and best good to have this outcome at this time (or perhaps ever). – Often there is a lesson involved and until the lesson has been learned, the issue will not change. If we are primarily here to grow and learn (which is my belief based on quite a lot of evidence to suggest that is true), then our “thorny” circumstances and bodily issues are the teachers. The quicker we “get it” and move through whatever we need to learn and integrate, the quicker we can be done with the issue. And, sometimes, the thing we need to learn is how to transcend the issue, to be happy and fulfilled even if it doesn’t change.
